Call for sponsors
The 16th International Conference of Copepoda (ICOC16), organised by Stazione Zoologica Anton Dohrn, will be held in Napoli (Italy) from the 11th to the 15th of October 2027.
This event is organized every three years under the auspices of the World Association of Copepodologists (WAC) and brings together the entire international community working on copepods. Since its first edition in 1981, the International Conference on Copepods (ICOC) has become the premier global forum for scientists studying the biology, ecology, evolution, taxonomy, physiology, and biodiversity of copepods.
ICOC16 will mark the long-awaited return of the conference to Europe after 31 years, the last European edition having been held in Oldenburg, Germany, in 1996.
The Stazione Zoologica Anton Dohrn (SZN), one of the world’s oldest marine research Institute still active, has the honour of hosting the 16th International Conference on Copepods for the first time in Italy.
